OCR have produced a new Project Progression Record (PPR) for the EPQ which can be used for first submission in January 2016.
The last date for submission for the old Project Progression Record will be May 2016.
The new PPR is easier to use and should help with tracking student progress and assessing student work. If you have any queries about the new PPR please email firstname.lastname@example.org.
OCR have produced four brand new teachers' guides to support delivery of the Extended Project.
Each guide is linked to an assessment outcome and clearly outlines evidence and assessment requirements.
Projects are stand-alone qualifications, at Levels 1 to 3. The project can take the form of a report, performance, artefact, investigation, design or dissertation (at L3) and can be on any topic the learner chooses. Learners are assessed on their ability to plan, research, develop and critically evaluate their work rather than on the outcome of the project itself.
